Welcome to the new month of August.
The walk of faith is one that solely relies on God’s leading and direction. Ask yourself am I on the map of God in this season?
You see sometimes the map of God today doesn’t look like your tomorrow?
The past few weeks I reminisced about my past, present and future; I saw how none looked like the other. My past looks nothing like my today and my tomorrow looks nothing like my today. It is also quite astonishing to see the drastic differences between the three; past, present and future.
Perhaps you can relate? There is a drastic difference between your past and your today, in as much as there is in your today and your future? Has God given you dreams, visions or perhaps prophecies through other people regarding your future but yet your today does not reflect this?
Child of God, do not fret, do not be afraid about your sight, the most important thing is to stay on God’s map; staying in faith. Your life can change in a moment and your season can end in a twinkling, heralding a new season. Stir up your faith by reminding yourself of what God has done for you in your past victories! Jesus reminded His disciples when they forgot how Jesus was their Provider, through this passage in Matthew 16:9, “Do you not yet understand, or remember the five loaves of the five thousand and how many baskets you took up?”
Therefore, don’t try to figure out how you will get through August, how you will get through this year, how you will get through this and that; I assure you, as you remain planted on God’s map, so will God’s promises, seasons and plans remain planted in and for you. It’s written in Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” So, walk through! As you walk through declare the Promises of God, don’t just walk through in silence! Paint your future with God’s Word as you buckle up and embark on an adventure on God’s true and unshakable map to your destiny.
Remember, your map is unique to anyone else’s unless it involves a spouse who is one with you. Therefore, don’t look at other people’s maps to understand yours, don’t imitate other people’s postures, strides and rhythms as you walk through. Ask God for discernment to see and recognise each season you are in and the season you are about to enter on your journey through God’s map for your life. Refuse to be a blind Christian by building yourself spirit through prayer and the Word of God. God bless you!
