Sometime last year, in October, I had a vision whilst I was in prayer. I stood at the entrance of a large room facing the LORD (I’d say 50 metres from me), who was sitting on a seat, but I couldn’t see His face. I wore a long white robe. He lifted a sceptre, and I walked in. The room was so big and full of light, yet there were no windows. The light there was like a light you can also feel; it went in and through you. The room was airy and perfectly bright.
Now, because in heaven there is no concept of time, I suddenly saw myself, in a moment, in the middle of the room. I was now looking at the entrance door and around the room. There were people or angels doing errands, and there seemed to be some business taking place, like, answers being given but let me emphasise that things were happening very quickly. Perhaps this room was the room of answered prayers. I saw that there were others like me, coming, one by one, at the entrance.
So then, as I continued looking, again, suddenly, in a moment, I saw myself at the platform where the LORD was sitting. I saw seats, white seats around His, and I wondered why they were not vacant. This side of the room was a bit empty. As I kept looking, I had an urge to go and sit on one, but I didn’t feel worthy. However, this urgency was greater than how I felt, so I saw myself walking up the platform and sitting on one of the seats near His seat. I began to watch with Him the activities taking place in the room. He would lift a sceptre, and the person at the entrance would walk in…then the vision ended.
AD
After some time trying to understand this vision, I realised that it wasn’t just about the season I was in but also the posture of every believer’s faith in 2021 and beyond. It is a time that demands Christians to walk in their true identity in Christ, in confidence, boldness, power, love, and a sound mind. A time that will call us to use the authority we have been given in Christ Jesus! 2021 was a year that we cannot afford to be timid, shy or give up. This is a year that we work together with Christ, sitting with and in Him!
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 2:5-7 (NKJV)
However, walking and working with Christ is not be a walk in the park because the ways of God are not like the ways of humans. Hence, this may result in your ideas, plans, or yourself being rejected by others. It may call you to pluck out old habits to win new victories (remember how David killed the giant Goliath without a sword but with 1 of 5 stones). Beloved, it’s time to rise, be positioned and use the authority and power in the name of Jesus.

This is wonderful. The Lord is so gracious in all He does. Praise be to God Almighty. May we all rise up and serve him in love, humility, authority, power and soundness of mind.
