On Saturday 7 July, during prayer, the LORD released a Word in my spirit that there are new mantles that have been released. When one is given a new mantle, they begin to have ability, power and might to walk in that office God has put them in. They will suddenly know how to do certain things; a mantle is heavy but it comes with equipment. Back in 2010 when I had an encounter with the LORD Jesus, before He left my room one of the angels threw a white transparent-like garment on me. I did not know what this meant until this Saturday after prayer. Can you believe it, that after 8 years the LORD finally gave me understanding of what this was! It was a new mantle. Dear reader, as of this year, today, many believers right now are now wearing new mantles especially in the offices of prophets and evangelists; it’s important that these believers are aware of this! The move of God that Creation has really been waiting for, has begun! We will begin to see a great move of God like we’ve never seen before, even in unusual, shocking and dynamic ways.
If you’re wondering what a mantle is, it is different from an anointing, it is a garment covering you entirely, enveloping you. A mantle can’t be lost but an anointing can (remember king Saul?). A mantle looks like a long cloak/garment; the prophets of old like Elijah and Elisha wore these as a sign of their office (see 2 Kings 2:12-15). Mantles are now seen in the spirit realm and they identify the office you occupy. The mantle is like your verification to the calling you carry. You see, there are gifts of teaching, prophesying etc but there are offices for Teachers, Prophets, Pastors etc. The gift and the office are not the same.
God is this season is putting people in offices. There are new mantles that have been released by God onto a certain number of individuals who were being trained by Him in private for this last hour. The purpose of these mantles is for these individuals to defend the gospel. The LORD Jesus is needing believers to now stand at a certain level of maturity and understanding whereby they perceive and understand the dire need to defend His gospel in this generation! This last hour is for those who are working for God and not for themselves, in the sense that they only have one agenda; to fulfil God’s will on earth.
Dear reader, I don’t know what you are doing in the body of Christ at this moment, I don’t know what your motives or priorities are as a believer but God needs you to defend His gospel. I pray you are one of those He can use to do so. I pray you are one of those who is willing to do so at any cost. Are you willing and obedient?
